On 20th April 2024,Osinoni held its first ever Fundraising event at the Royal Acacia Hotel Isiolo.In a bid to upscale its operations and capacity,the organization deemed it fit to mobilize resources through friends and partners.It was a great day with deep insights,deliberations about wetlands and general biodiversity restoration.A record sale of Osinoni- customized merchandise that included water bottles and t-shirts was made, totaling up to circa $300.Cetrad led by Dr. Kiteme donated $ 500 jointly with Dr Urs Schaffner from CABI ,Switzerland in what placed a great mark of success for the day!Registrations and other individual contributions from friends totaled up to $ 200 .The total amount raised was approximately $1000. To be precise,the day was a success..We would like to recognize and appreciate all organizations that showed up or were represented in different capacities including:WRA,WRUA,Rotary Clubs of Meru,Laikipia Highlanders,Borana Conservancy,RPPL and Cetrad!All funds that were raised will go towards restoration of wetlands as well as organization operations!We thank all those that supported this event and continue to welcome all like-minded people to join us for the love of “Mother nature” !
